PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Forget coffee, Keurig is now in the cocktail business.
Drinkworks would make a perfect Christmas gift! You can learn more at drinkworks.com and follow the company on social media.
Anheuser-Busch has partnered with Keurig to create Drinkworks, a home bar machine that uses pods to make a variety of mixed drinks.
Stock your Bartesian with the base spirits: Vodka, Tequila, Whisky, Gin/Rum as well as water. Insert your preferred cocktail capsule into Bartesian. The spirits and water are released, mixing with the cocktail capsule contents while being dispensed. Cocktails, made easy. Order Bartesian. Not everyone can make cocktails nor can anyone hire a bartender. Many wanted a home bar set up in their homes but without the expertise or experience of making quality cocktails, the desire can be in vain. Here comes the Keurig Drinkworks!

“The pods have everything you need, super concentrated, in the tiniest, lightest-weight format,” says Drinkworks President and CEO Nathaniel Davis.
They have a barcode on them that tells the machine which drink it is.
You simply pop them in the machine, and it does all the work.
“It reads the barcode and knows whether it needs to add carbonation or not, and if it’s a four-ounce drink or an eight-ounce one,” says Davis.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board started selling the pods a month ago.

Each pod makes one drink, and the pods come in a pack of four for $15.99.
The machine itself costs $400, but many stores are currently advertising them for $200 as part of Black Friday sales.

In Pennsylvania, both the machine and the pods are currently available for purchase only online.

While the machine can be delivered to anyone at your home, the pods can only be delivered if someone age 21 or older is there to sign for them.
They can also be shipped to Fine Wine and Good Spirits shops, where you can pick them up in person.
